these 2 desks I decoupaged at the toco shop a charity resale shop and the moneys made goes to local families and kids in need ... they had been there a while while the wood is fiberboard they are sturdy and fine to use and should last a while in normal use the smaller one can hold a TV or be a side table for a bed or sofa used for food crafts table or a desk with a laptop or tablet the side drops down when not in use I am happy with its looks the maps looks so good they are all the lap flaps from National geographic magazines .
this corner computer desk was more challenging I used pages from an old atlas ans from a childs vintage map book the different kinds of maps make it an interesting piece there ate water maps and street maps and world maps cities and states along with many countries here .
