New Years Eve.

the new treadmill is behind the sofa waiting to be taken from the box and put together. soon . some thrift finds have been a new nutcracker for the nutcracker wreath,,,center one is replaced by a taller guy. I like this wreath so much,I am saving and searching for more items like this for another. the card face salt and pepper shakers are a fun find.. and the carved wood dog -love him. and the sweet pink fairy was a find at 75% off at Marshalls . as I reflect on the past year I remember the good the bad and the ugly. but on the other hand I am grateful for many things. I said a sad good by to old friends. watched as my family went through changes. watched my artwork get better - I must say I am happy with my work. I also have got better at blogging. yay. await the arrival of the new president. and the new economy - I still wonder why the media wasn't all over the recession as news for over a year. when the working people knew it was there all along. thus the growth and interest in the new arts and crafts movement and the interest in the recycling and thinking green as we need to scale down and re think the American dream. or the media needs to quit manipulating and pay attention to the public - I for one - is sick of the Shock Jock mentality - and the negative sensationalistic journalism - one of those magazine shows came on as I was busy with some art and they said something about the public begging for stories on a couple of celebs - that they constantly report on and I had to laugh. it's their desire not ours.
